Meet the Teacher

I feel it is important to know something about the background of the person that will spend so much of their day with your child. It is my hope that this brief passage will help you to learn a bit about me!

I have been working in the Catholic Schools of Rochester since 1982. That was the year I graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester with a B.S. in Psychology. Several years later I returned to school and earned my M.S. in Educational Administration. As a result, I worked as a school principal for about 10 years. So, I have experience as a classroom teacher (4-8) and an administrator (elementary and junior high).

I have a passion for reading, so much of my free time is spent with my nose in a book. During the summers I spend time in the Adirondacks at a small camp I have there. Reading certainly happens there, along with some swimming, hiking, fishing, and napping! All good things for renewing my spirit!
